Blanca Vernis

Blanca Vernis Domènech (Barcelona, 1961) is a contemporary Spanish artist whose pictorial work focuses on the reinterpretation of the urban landscape. A Fine Arts graduate from the University of Barcelona, she has developed a solid career marked by her own recognizable visual language.

Her work explores the relationship between the city and the natural environment, especially through the fusion of the urban skyline with the Mediterranean Sea. Using oil and mixed media applied with a palette knife, she creates compositions with great material richness, where light and texture play a leading role.

Throughout her career, she has exhibited in various galleries and art spaces both in Spain and internationally, consolidating her presence in cities such as Barcelona, Madrid, and New York. Her work stands out for a contemporary view of the landscape, full of expressiveness and aesthetic sensitivity.
