Juana Céspedes Domingues

Juana Céspedes Domínguez (Seville, 1959) is a self-taught artist based in Barcelona, specializing in watercolor and water-based techniques. For over thirty years, she has developed a personal body of work characterized by color, narrative sensibility, and a poetic gaze on everyday life.

Her work has been presented in over sixty exhibitions and has received recognition from institutions such as the Fundació Vila Casas and the Fundació Barcelona Olímpica. She also regularly participates in international fairs, including The Other Art Fair in Los Angeles.

Inspired by the energy of urban life, music, and dance, Juana Céspedes creates imaginary scenes populated by characters and atmospheres full of movement and emotion.
